Set against Scotland’s stunning east coast, the University of St Andrews—ranked the UK’s top university by The Guardian and The Times and Sunday Times—is the perfect home for ISSOS’s international summer school programme.
St Andrews offers an academic environment steeped in tradition while embracing a modern, international student experience. The university’s centuries-old buildings sit alongside state-of-the-art facilities, creating a distinctive setting for education. Beyond the classroom, students can explore cobbled streets, independent cafes, and historic landmarks like St Andrews Cathedral.
Despite its small size, St Andrews has a global presence. Known as the “Home of Golf,” it attracts visitors from around the world to its famous courses, including the Old Course, where the sport has been played for over six centuries. The town’s coastal location offers breathtaking scenery, with beaches, cliffs, and seaside walks just minutes from campus.
Last week, we hosted a drinks reception at The Physician to thank the incredible suppliers and partners who help make ISSOS St Andrews such a success each summer. From accommodation and activities to catering and logistics, their support is invaluable. It was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on another brilliant summer and look ahead to what’s next. A big thank you to everyone who joined us!
