Our summer school in Scotland with an idyllic coastal location
Our three-week summer school in St Andrews offers 13–18-year-olds from around the world the opportunity to learn, develop new skills, and experience life at Scotland’s top university. Through a carefully designed programme that blends academic study, creative enrichment, and outdoor activities, students gain valuable knowledge while making international friendships. To ensure a diverse and immersive experience, places are limited to 10% per nationality, and students are always in a mix of native and non-native English speakers.
Students choose one academic and one elective and will spend their evenings and weekends taking part in our activities programme and going on cultural trips.

Experience University Life at St Andrews
ISSOS at St Andrews takes place within the historic and prestigious University of St Andrews, Scotland’s top university. Students stay in dedicated university accommodation, exclusive to ISSOS, providing a safe and supportive environment throughout the three-week summer school. Set within the university’s beautiful and expansive grounds, this setting allows students to fully immerse themselves in academic and extracurricular activities while experiencing life on a world-class campus.
